Polygamy is an "abomination" as stated in the original Book of Mormon (Jacob 2:23-24) and has never been of God. (The 1830 Book of Mormon (unaltered) is a historical record of the ancient Americans e.g. the "other sheep" that Jesus Christ visited John 10:16).
